What is Coir?
Coir is a natural fiber derived from the husk of the coconut. The husk contains fiber and fine materials that constitute coco peat.

Coco peat is a homogenous material comprised of millions of capillary micro-sponges resulting in high water absorption and retention capacity. It is commercially proven as a high quality renewable alternative to mined peat moss, and its supply slows down peat extraction from environmentally sensitive swamp areas.

Coir has balanced pH with high cation exchange capacity. Coir fiber, husk, and chip are graded into various particle sizes and formulated to suit the growing application. With its high moisture retention, strong porosity and aeration, balanced pH, coir is used worldwide in commercial and home garden applications.
