DIRECTIONS FOR USE
ORIGINAL MULCH BLOCK – LARGE SIZE (9 lbs)
1) Unwrap the LARGE block and place it in a wheelbarrow or container, such as a large plastic storage tub.
2) Add 20 quarts (5 gallons) water directly over the block. Using warm water will accelerate hydration process.
3) Wait 10-20 minutes for block to hydrate, then simply pull it apart and it is ready for use. Make sure any dry parts are completely hydrated.
4) You can also place blocks every three feet directly into the desired garden area and use a hose with shower attachement or sprinkler/irrigation system water the blocks. Pull blocks apart or rake into place. Use hose to make sure any dry parts are completely hydrated.
ORIGINAL SOIL BLOCK and ORIGINAL GROW BLOCK - LARGE SIZE (9 LBS)
1) Unwrap the LARGE block and place it container, such as a large plastic storage tub. You want to use a deep and narrow container so that as much of the block as possible is underwater.
2) Add 20 quarts (5 gallons) water directly over the block. Try to get as much surface area of the block underwater as possible. Using warm water will accelerate hydration process.
3) Wait 30 minutes or more for block to hydrate; this style block is very compressed and needs time to fully hydrate. Try turning block over halfway through the hydration process. Pull block apart and it is ready for use. You may still have a small, compressed “core” ball remaining – soak this core separately, adding more water if needed.
ALL SMALL BLOCKS
1) Unwrap the block and place it in a container, such as a plastic storage tub or bucket.
2) Add 7 quarts of warm water directly over the block
3) Wait 10-20 minutes for block to hydrate, then simply pull it apart and it is ready for use. Using warm water will accelerate hydration process.
